SMS Audio Go Headphone Crazy

By Tony Ibrahim | Friday | 05/10/2012

From humble in-ears to lossless wireless headphones, SMS audio has released a slew of new products.

If your thinking of buying Beats by Dre headphones, you might want to check out 50 cents contribution with his SMS Audios range.

The new Street by 50 headphones start from $109.95, come in a variety of colours and have the same bass-heavy attitude popular today. Check out the new range below.

Street by 50 On-Ear Wired Headphones | $199.95 | Black, White

These cans have 40mm drivers tuned to deliver the same enhanced bass lauded by enthusiasts of R&B and other genres heavy on the low-end. They're also characterised by memory foam on-ear cups—which help keep outside noises out of your private sound-stage—and are portable thanks to a folding design and removable cable.

Street by 50 Over-Ear Wired Headphones | $249.95 | Black, Blue, White

These headphones have the same 40mm drivers as the On-Ear variant but the foam cups don't sit on your ear. Rather, they sit snugly over them for a more isolated listening experience. There is a compromise though: the better sound has come at the expense of a foldaway design.

Street by 50 Wired DJ Headphones | $299.95 | Shadow Black, City Grey

These wired DJ headphones sit over the ear and deliver crisp music through their professionally tuned 40 mm drivers. Like its On-Ear sibling, it too has a foldaway design and memory foam cups, but its over-the-ear design is better at eliminating outside distractions. They come with two removable cables (a coiled DJ cable with ¼" adapter plus a cable with a three-click microphone) and a hard-shell carry case.

Sync by 50 Over-Ear Wireless | $399.95 | Black, White, Silver Obsidian

Through the use of a wireless transmitter, these headphones will stream 16-bit lossless digital sound to you in a range of 50 feet. The ear cups host full on-board controls, including bass boast, volume control and mute, and up to four users can sync from one source.
