Denon says new 3D Recievers have the X Factor.

Denon unveil three new X Series 3D AV Receivers - AVR-X2000, AVR-X1000 and AVR-X500.

And its X by name, X by nature: Denon claim the new receivers have Xcellent performance and usability.

AVR-X500 (RRP $499) for home theatre beginners delivers the legendary Denon quality, with a high quality fully discrete 5-channel amplifier for powerful sound at 165W per channel.

It also has a front HDMI port to enjoy their audio/video from devices like cameras, tablets or smartphones.

AVR-X2000 (which received a 5 star rating by What Hi-Fi), AVR-X1000 are fully networked home entertainment centres with the most comprehensive network feature set ever on a Denon, as home networked AV receivers become hot property.

Features include: AirPlay technology built-in so users can listen to iTunes music libraries on their AVR, Internet radio, Spotify and Last.fm DLNA 1.5 compatibility, gapless playback music files (including HD Audio formats like FLAC HD or WAV HD) stored on a network storage device on a PC or via front USB port.

There is a Denon Remote App available for iOS and Androids, which you can also control your Spotify account from.

While the AVR-X1000 (RRP $699) a discrete 5 channel amplifier delivering 175W of power, 5 HDMI inputs (including one front), and 3D pass-through technology,

The AVR-X2000 (RRP $999) goes one better with 7 channel amplifier delivers 185W per channel and can upscale video to 1080p and 4K Ultra HD, and 7 HDMI ports.

The amps can either be used for a 5.1- or 7.1-system, bi-amping or firing a second zone in another room.

Both X1000/ X2000 house new Audyssey audio technologies for real-time volume adjustment,  improves a system's surround sound effects at low volume levels via Audyssey Dynamic EQ and auto calibrates speakers (including the subwoofer) to suit the room's listening environment.
