Sharp unveils its Portable Entertainment Sound System, the GX-M10HOR.

The system is a "complete music hub" as it features an iPhone/iPod dock, USB compatible with iPad, audio input, and a top loading CD player - a rare sight these days.

There is also a FM tuner with built in RDS, guitar and microphone inputs, and a remote control.

The system looks loud - the sub-woofers flash orange to the rhythm of tunes, and it looks like a machine we would've probably owned in the 90s.

Sounds wise, the Sharp Entertainment Sound System has an X-Bass system, 100 Watts RMS digital amplifier and 2 x 17W speakers + 2 x 33W subwoofers.

The Sharp machine measures 750mm (W) x 275mm(H) x 280mm(D) and weighs in at 7.6kg (without batteries and accessories).

Speaking of accessories, it comes with an AC power cord, remote control, iPad stand, AA battery, dock spacer and carrying strap.

"Excellent sound, multiple connectivity options and complete portability makes the new Sharp Portable Entertainment Sound System one of the most versatile units on the market," said Mark Beard, Marketing Manager Sharp Australia

The Sharp boombastic box is priced at RRP $329 from major retailers.
