Apple 'Black Friday' Sale 12.01am

Although an Apple spokesperson would not comment on products or prices to be offered tomorrow Friday 29, the promo features an image of an iPad.

"You'll just have to wait and see", an Apple rep said.

The sale prices will be available via Apple online and retail stores. Previous years Apple has held similar Black Friday sales, with moderate price cuts on iPads, iPods, Macs and accessories and older hardware models.

Sale prices are limited to stock on hand and while supplies last.

However, Apple will also be offering free shipping on all gear sold.

'This year's Apple sales event this Friday will be based around gift cards,' rather than discounts, according to 9to5Mac, citing sources.

Electronics were among the most popular items purchased via the Click Frenzy event held last week, organisers said.

In the US, the Black Friday sales event kicks off tomorrow and Cyber Monday takes place December 2nd.
