The four page HP brochure which appeared in
various Australia publications was for HP's Elite Pad that runs Windows 8 Pro.
A HP marketing executive said that they could not
comment as they had not seen the brochure.
Earlier this month the Australian Federal
Court slammed HP for their own work ethics when were found to have made false
and misleading representation to both customers and their own retailers, some
who are facing further action by the Australian Competition & Consumer

The Federal Court found HP had made false
or misleading representations about consumer guarantee rights, including the
terms of repairs, product returns and warranties.

What has not been explained is why HP
thought it appropriate to raise the issue of "work ethics" in a
product marketing campaign days after being fined a massive $3M dollars for
their own lack of work ethics.
