Recently JBL released several new home theatre kits including the JBL SCS 260-5 which is a complete 6-Piece Home Cinema Speaker Package Each satellite speaker has two 75mm bass/midrange drivers and a 13 mm titanium tweeter in a wall-mountable package weighing just 1.4 kilograms each.

In combination with the subwoofer, they develop excellent coverage of the frequency range, with good balance from moderately deep bass through to beyond the ability of the human ear.

JBL recently announced the release of the new JBL Studio 1 loudspeaker series which consists of four speakers as part of the new range, two floor standing, one bookshelf and one centre-channel speaker. They all feature the distinctive new JBL signature Weave design.

"We are truly excited to unveil the JBL Studio 1 series -the latest product boasting our brand-new 'weave' design language", said Thijs Linthorst, general manager, of Harman Consumer International.

Their dramatic new look may suggest a radical departure from convention. But in fact, Studio 180 loudspeakers deliver the signature JBL sound that has been captivating audio professionals and critical listeners around the world for more than 60 years.
