Electrolux Knocks Sense Into Appliances

By Oonagh Reidy | Thursday | 23/05/2013

Finally, Electrolux gives its kitchen appliances some sense, including the ability to 'keep warm'

'Ergosense', to be precise.

Electrolux has just released Ergosense breakfast range - kettles, toasters - in some pretty funky colours and some cool features for the humble kitchen appliance.

Available in stainless steel, white, red or liquorice, the new Ergosense electronic kettle jug shape electronic kettle with 1.7L capacity, custom heat setting, colour LED illumination, displays the heating progress.

The new kettle can be programmed to one of five preset temperatures, from 50 - 100 degrees Celsius, for precise temperate control.

The Ergosense kettle's 'keep warm' function allows you to maintain a selected water temperature for up to 30 minutes, and quieter operation, says its maker.

There are two models of both the kettle and toaster one for $79.95 and another pricier one for $119.95.

Ergosense 2-slot and 4-slot toasters

The Ergosense 2-slot and 4-slot toasters, have extra wide and self centring slots, catering for a variety of breads to be toasted evenly - whether its multigrain or white bread, muffins or crumpets.

It has six browning settings, so you can have your toast exactly the way you like it.

Users also have the power to stop the toaster and pop up the bread at anytime, reheat or defrost and toast straight from the freezer.

"Electronic controls such as temperature settings and LED displays will ensure consistent results and allow you to have your breakfast just the way you like it," says Electrolux Small Appliances, Marketing Manager, Marine Pestel.

"With their efficient features, these stylish appliances may even leave you with time to treat yourself to some extra shut-eye in the morning."

Ergosense 4-slot toaster will be available from June and the rest of the models are instore now from Harvey Norman, Myer and The Good Guys. For stockist details call 1300 366 366.
