Samsung Australia has nabbed renowned chef Guillaume Brahimi as its new home appliances ambassador

Brahimi will be the face of its new built-in cooking range designed for any home, and says he's "thrilled to partner with Samsung, a highly respected brand that I love and am proud to be associated with."

So, while he won't come to your house and cook your food for you, the head chef of 'Guillaume at Bennelong' restaurant at Sydney Opera House will participate in marketing initiatives, including ads, for the giant.

The celeb chef will make his first appearance as a Samsung ambassador at 1pm this Saturday, July 27, at Sydney's Domayne Alexandria, located at 84 O'Riordan Street.

"Samsung's new range of appliances will make cooking at home even more of a pleasure," he said.

"As a busy chef with restaurants across Australia, I really appreciate the way their innovative technology is designed to make everyday tasks quick and easy to save me precious time that I can spend with my family and friends."

Arno Lenior, Samsung Marketing Director, said the collaboration represents its commitment to strengthen its relationship with Australians through innovation and design.

"Samsung is rapidly evolving its presence in the homes and kitchens of Australia through constant product innovation across our home appliance ranges that make for an easy, less complicated and high quality experience."

Samsung's collaboration with Brahimi forms part of a portfolio of sponsorships for the brand locally - earlier this year it was unveiled as Principal Partner of the Sydney Opera House where it launched its hero phone, Galaxy S4.

Samsung is also now a major partner for TEDx Sydney.
