Hear Me Cry: D-Link Baby Camera

D-Link Wi-Fi Baby Camera (DCS-825L) lets you monitor your child in High Def, and alerts parents to baby crying or other movements, via smartphone, PC or tablet.

Sporting a built-in microphone and speaker, 4x digital zoom, 1/4" megapixel progressive CMOS sensor, and 5 metre IR-LED illumination distance lets you watch your bub in the dark.

The baby monitor has advanced sensors for room temperature, motion, and sound. It also lets parents understand their baby's sleeping patterns better, whether they are lying on their back or side.

The Wi-Fi operated baby cam runs with the My D-Link Baby mobile app.

The really clever part is parents can speak calming words to their child via the two-way audio system, or have the camera play a lullaby.

It comes in blue or pink and also won the CES Design & Innovation Awards 2014. Set up is remarkably easy.

The DCS-825L RRP is $249.95 in Australia ($329.95 in NZ), sold at Babies R Us, www.thebabystore.com.au, JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman and Mwave.
